Adelaide ... Barossa

Adelaide
We’ve been stalked by the girls from Cooma – Loretta and Marg have arrived in Adelaide to help us examine the bottom of a few wine glasses. The teeming raining has continued to follow us but we are looking forward to 6 nights in luxurious accommodation – the sound of rain on a tiled roof rather than on canvas is so posh!

The first day of exploring was in the Barossa Valley with the highlights been the Yalumba winery

,Maggie Beers Pheasant farm (with Jane taking over Maggie’s kitchen),

, and the rolling green vineyards (Bethany vineyard).

Weather is heaps cooler than we expected … where are we Canberrra, Coooma, or South Australia???
Day 2 of exploring Adelaide found us at the seaside suburb of Glenelg checking out some surprising tourist attractions.

Who is up to mischief here?

Still to do are the markets at Port Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf, Clare Valley, shops, chocolate factory and maybe one or two more wines.
