Beagle Bay
Stopped in to check out the church that was built by the Pallotine Monks and the locals.
Cape Leveque
Camped a couple of nights and went swimming, walking, fishing, and of course watched the sunset.

We loved the Cape so much that we took the advice of other travellers and stayed 2 nights at Middle Lagoon. Now can you guess what we did here … yep went swimming, walking, fishing, and of course watched the sunset.
beach shack that you can stay in if you want to be that close to the water
Eighty Mile Beach … between Broome and Port Hedland
Amazing you travel for miles and miles of absolutely nothing and then you come across a caravan park in the middle of nowhere. It was so packed we couldn’t even get a powered sight, ummmm …. what’s the attraction … and some people migrate here for 6 months of the year and there is nothing else except the caravan park and the beach -but a great beach with heaps of shells.

Port Hedland
Sorry no photos but did have to drop into the police to report a stolen mobile phone ummm … won’t tell you how I really feel about that little episode cause I would have to use some really bad words. Also called into the local telephone shop to get a replacement phone … and all I can say about that is that they charged $100+ more than a Telstra shop and they also charged a $45 admin/labour fee … I was speechless considering the whole transaction took less then 10 minutes!!!
